WHAT do we need urgently right now?
Erinda is my right hand and will stay in Kenya as supervisor of the project. To make it possible to stay in Kenya she has taken on a job for two days a week to cover the basic costs of living. Yet she needs 350 € to pay her rent, telephone and Internet connection, for the moment just for 1 or 2 months.
We need an unknown amount of money to pay for the whole bureaucratic process of founding the Trust, especially in Kenya. Here it is easier, but slow. So we have no legal framework yet and still need money. We will need to pay the people that occupy themselves there with it. The money can go over Erinda’s account, who will for now, keep track of what is done, save the receipts, so that afterwards there is a clear way of administration possible.
What is very important is a car, as there are no busses going from village to village, which means that either one goes by car or needs to take a taxi all the time. If a car is not available, in the beginning this means they will have to go by taxi which does cost money.
Of course we need to pay these teachers also. As they are already starting, it is of great urgency to be able to send some money there already.
I am going to find out if this can go over the association Sa’Sen Yin I already have. This way there is a clear bank-account that is not private, and it is easier to check and do it without having to pay tax over it (something I will apply for).
